Rita Anderson, Broker
Office: (615) 754-2442
FAX: (615) 754-7043
As a teenager, Rita Anderson helped her father negotiate and purchase a commercial property in Old Hickory that she had researched and identified for his business, and the seed for her future career in commercial real estate was planted. Rita’s first job as a tax practitioner also laid the groundwork for her understanding the complex financial dealings when buying and selling commercial properties and businesses.
Rita obtained her real estate license in 1983, and started her own firm, Anderson Commercial Brokerage in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee in 1996. Over the past 38 years, Rita has helped the sellers and buyers of retail centers, multi-family developments, raw land, and industrial properties. She has also assisted landlords and tenants of a large number of retail stores, restaurants, office buildings and warehouses throughout Middle Tennessee.
With a long list of clients that include many well-known names, some of Rita’s most notable transactions have included a shopping center in Smyrna anchored by a movie theatre; warehouse leases for Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to the Dell Corporation when they first came to Middle Tennessee, and most recently, the sale of land for the future home of Vol State Community College’s Mt. Juliet campus.
Through hard work, extensive local knowledge and top-notch service for her clients, Rita has earned a stellar reputation as a commercial real estate broker and a business broker, with a large network of referrals and long-term business relationships.
Rita and her husband, Jerry, raised their 3 children while living in Mt. Juliet and now that they enjoy spending time with 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, they make their home in Old Hickory.
